Politicians in Washington D.C. should be spending every waking second fighting to create jobs and restore the American dream. Instead, too many of them are busy giving tax breaks to billionaires and waging a direct assault on Social Security, health care, and the core services our communities depend on.
That’s why I’m running for Congress.
My own life story has only been possible due to the hard work and perseverance of family AND the generous support of our community and government. That’s the America I know, that’s the America worth fighting for—and that’s the America we have an obligation to pass on to future generations.
This is no time for timidity or triangulation—I firmly believe this is the moment to engage in a real debate about our core values as Americans, about what we expect from our government, and what we’re willing to pay for it.
